 Changing the brake fluid in your Chevy Bolt EV is a task you can tackle with the right tools and a bit of patience. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the process: Prepare Your Work Area : Ensure you have a clean, well-lit space to work in. Gather all necessary tools, including a brake fluid bleeder, new brake fluid, and a wrench set. Locate the Brake Fluid Reservoir : Open the hood and find the brake fluid reservoir. It’s usually located near the back of the engine bay, close to the windshield. Remove the Old Brake Fluid : Use a brake fluid bleeder to remove the old fluid from the reservoir. Be careful not to spill any fluid, as it can damage paint and other surfaces. Clean the Reservoir : Wipe down the inside of the reservoir with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove any residue.
